Elhedaya was founded in 2008 as a non-profit orginization 501(c)(3) with an EIN of 20-5618582.

Vision:

To be a leading center that promotes the values of Islam, learning, and compassion, empowering a cohesive and active Muslim community in Arlington, Texas, characterized by cooperation and solidarity.

Mission Statement:

El_Hedaya Islamic Society is dedicated to promoting Islamic values by providing comprehensive services in the areas of worship, education, and social support. We manage a mosque to offer a spiritual environment, an Islamic school to instill knowledge and values in students, a youth center to develop their skills and strengthen their Islamic identity, and a food bank to support families in need. We strive to build a strong and cohesive community, marked by compassion and cooperation, capable of facing the challenges of the modern era with enlightened Islamic principles.

Objectives:

El_Hedaya Islamic Society is a comprehensive, non-profit Islamic body that works to achieve the following purposes:

1- Commitment to applying the Islamic approach in all aspects of life: religious, social, cultural, intellectual, educational, civilizational, sports, and others.

2- Reuniting Muslims and uniting their hearts around the principles of Islam and its clear teachings and renewing its impact, while bridging viewpoints, and strengthening the bonds of love, friendship, and brotherhood among the members of the community.

3- Introducing Islam and practicing the call to God Almighty with wisdom and good preaching to all segments of Muslim and non-Muslim society.

4- Working to raise a generation of young people who understand Islam correctly, far from reprehensible strictness and abhorrent laxity, and work according to its provisions, and call to the religion of God Almighty to non-Muslims, while affirming the meanings of brotherhood and complete solidarity in a spirit of true cooperation among its members.

5- Presenting the call of Islam in a precise way that clarifies it and returns it to its nature and comprehensiveness, focusing on strengthening unity, uniting the word, and eliminating class differences and racism among all human beings, while taking into account the development of advocacy programs for non-Muslims.

6- comprehensive educational programs (for men, women, youth, and children) for Muslims, while developing valid curricula and being guided by Islamic guidance in order to preserve Islamic identity.

7- Preserving the inheritance of the Arabic language to new generations.
